Recently, TRON announced a strategic cooperation with Spacety (Tian Yi Research Institute), a commercial space company which aims to be SpaceX in China. In the future, the two sides will work closely together to explore the technology and application of integrating blockchain with the micro-satellites. TRON will provide guidance to Spacety on blockchain technology, and Spacety. will also provide technical services to TRON to achieve fast and efficient network communication through micro satellites. The two sides are currently planning to send the first blockchain-driven test satellite into space in 2018, the technical details and cooperation mode of which will not be disclosed for the time being.
