コインチェックでは、大量の仮想通貨「ＮＥＭ」が流出して以降、サービスの一部を停止していて、利用者は預けている仮想通貨などを引き出せない状態が続いています。
首都圏に住む自営業の男性も、預けていたＮＥＭとは別の仮想通貨だったのになぜ引き出せないのか説明はなく、不信感を募らせていました。男性がインターネット上で聞いてみると、同じように自分の資産の行方や流出したＮＥＭの補償が本当に行われるかわからないといった不安や不満が多くの利用者から聞かれたということです。
このため、男性が団結して対応を求めようと呼びかけたところ５０人ほどが集まり、３日に東京で弁護士も交えて集会を開くことにしています。
